Lets fire away…..
Through time we have seen different changes through Googles Algorithm, (this happens hundreds of times a year) to the way Google interacts with our websites based on a lot of factors. Some of these factors are “Ad to content ration” The real key here in this explanation is to not overdo any type of Adsense or affiliate links on your website if any at all. We understand that these ads can generate income for a lot of websites that offer free advice (they have to have something to try pay for what they are presenting), you just don’t want to overdo it. The more content present on your site, the more of these Ad blocks you can have.
If you have one of these sites and want to rank well, then follow some simple golden rules when it comes to placement. Do not place all these ad blocks above the fold (the top section of your website, before scrolling begins), if you do, keep them to a bare minimum as we want to keep visitors on your website, yes I know, these ads maybe paying to keep your website up, the key point here is we want them to read your content. The fewer you show, the less your bounce rate is going to be, just avoid it – if you going to place them, have them down the right-hand side or in between the content you have worked so hard on to reach your chosen audience.
